Ok, I’ve decided to give this whole blogging thing a second shot. I have big news!

Part of the reason I decided to do this again is to show case cool monthly projects
I have been assigned for them that sometimes don’t get a full detailed image of what they look like. Another reason is to advertise more for Alphabet Soup to build up my clientele.
I thought this first project I will be showing is the perfect way to start of since there is a neat video action shot to go with it! Our task given was “Note card”, so instead of making a few note cards to go into a set I decided to make one extravagant card for that special someone whom you normally don’t buy gifts for around the holidays but still want to show some extra love to. Nothing says you care more then an over the top homemade card, right? I personally love homemade cards and gifts because I know and appreciate the time a person puts into them.
I have recently been finding myself up-cycling a lot of different items: Jars, bags, cards, and even packaging from old boxes. With this card I had an old package of beads that were held in a clear plastic case. I cut the top of the case off to use as a bubble dome (also know as a “shaker” card). I then added it in between layers of the snowman die cut to hide the edges. Adding my favorite accents inside gave this card the perfect shimmer and shake I was looking for. Later on in the week, I will be adding a video tutorial on how you can achieve this cute movable card in explained details. Until then, cheers and happy scrapping!
